Some discoveries begin with a moment that changes everything.
For Jan Fredrik Solberg, this journey began as a four-year-old, in Kristiansand in 1948. During an excursion to the sea, he drowned – but was miraculously brought back to life. This borderline experience became a turning point. After the incident, he developed an unusual sensitivity to energy – especially in and around people. Throughout his life, this intuitive ability has been strengthened and sharpened. Jan Fredrik understood that what he sensed was not just a feeling – it was real energy. And an idea began to grow:
What if this energy could be made available to everyone?
Not through one person – but through technology. From human intuition to light-based technology. With that vision, Jan Fredrik began extensive development work. Over more than ten years, he worked to translate what he could feel into something that could be measured – and used.
The goal was clear.
To create a tool that could support the body's natural ability to balance and heal – through structured light energy. The result was Gunalight – a compact, user-friendly device that supplies your body with clean, gentle energy without side effects. The restructured energy is used to activate the body's own energy and intelligence. In 2019, the energy from Gunalight was tested and documented at NTNU. The research showed something completely new: Not just light – but structured, organized energy that had not previously been observed in this form.
A personal experience with the effect.
In 2016, I experienced for myself what Gunalight can do. I had long struggled with a frozen shoulder for which there is no treatment in ordinary school medicine. Over time, it should "burn out" on its own. It can take 1- several years. I had struggled with great pain and had minimal movement in my arm. Then I was introduced to Gunalight via inventor Solberg. He treated me with the prototype of Gunalight.
Already the day after the treatment, I could lift my arm without pain and had full flexibility in my shoulder again. I was in a bit of a shock that this "light thing" had healed me overnight. It hadn't been given a name yet and hadn't been fully developed into its current form. The "light thing" has since been named Gunalight and my story is now just one of many. It was as if my body had finally received the signal it needed to start its own healing.
It changed everything. This experience was the starting point for making the technology available to more people. In collaboration with Miridian Technology, Gunalight was launched in the US in 2023. In the US and other parts of the world, there are now over 400 clinics that use Gunalight as part of their daily treatment.
The feedback is clear. It works.
But Gunalight is not just about light or technology. It is about a new understanding of the body – as an intelligent energy system that, when given the right support, can activate its own ability for balance and well-being.
Gunalight is not a miracle.
It is the result of a life journey, a unique ability and a burning desire to make a difference. For us, it is about more than frequencies and wavelengths. It is about giving people access to their own potential.
